Chelsea Kanicsar is a Lecturer of Oboe at Pittsburg State University and founder of Prism Reeds, a company selling oboe and English horn reeds/cane. Active nationally and internationally, she has performed with ensembles such as the Musica Nova Orchestra (Phoenix), Tucson Symphony, and Classical Music Festival (Austria). A champion of new music, she has participated in over a dozen world premieres and will premiere three commissioned works in 2022-2023.
