Chelsea Himsworth

Dr. Chelsea Himsworth is a veterinary pathologist and epidemiologist with affiliations to the University of British Columbia and the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC). She currently serves as the BC Deputy Chief Veterinarian and BC Regional Director for the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative, alongside her role as an affiliate investigator at BCCDC.

• Education: DVM and Masters of Veterinary Science from Western College of Veterinary Medicine; PhD in School of Population and Public Health, University of British Columbia
• Specialization: Transdisciplinary One Health approaches, genomic tools for disease surveillance, zoonotic pathogens
