Chelsea D. Beyer is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in Trinity Western University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her expertise encompasses body image, embodiment across the lifespan, eating disorder development/treatment, and human sexuality. She holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of British Columbia, an MA from Trinity Western University, and a combined BA (Honours) in Psychology and BHK.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC), she teaches courses including Data Analysis, Abnormal Psychology, and Tests and Measurement. Her research employs qualitative methodologies to explore embodiment in clinical contexts.
Her recent publications investigate embodiment measurement techniques and narrative approaches to anorexia recovery, contributing to Routledge volumes on healthy embodiment and eating disorders.
