Dr. Charmaine Herman is a Full Professor in the College of Chiropractic at Life University, where she has taught since 2009, initially as an Adjunct Instructor. She specializes in clinical sciences, teaching courses like Head and Neck Clinical Case Integration, Neurological Diagnosis, and Advanced Clinical Skills. She also owns and directs Agape Upper Cervical Health Center, Inc. in Alpharetta, Georgia, specializing in Blair Upper Cervical (UC) chiropractic techniques.
Education: She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2009.
Research & Interests: Her work focuses on upper cervical chiropractic techniques and cultural competence in chiropractic education. She has presented research at venues including the International Research and Philosophy Symposium (IRAPS) and the Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic Society National Convention.
- Awards: Recognized for clinical excellence, teaching, and research, including the 2023 ICA Fellowship and the 2020 Vulcan Materials Teaching Excellence Award.
- Leadership: Serves as Vice-Chair of the Rank and Promotion Committee, Cultural Competency Trainer for Life’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI), and board member of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA).
