Charlotte Werndl

Charlotte Werndl is Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of Salzburg's Department of Philosophy, where she has served as Deputy Head since 2015. Previously, she held positions as Associate Professor and Lecturer at the London School of Economics and was a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. She maintains an affiliation as a Research Associate with the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment.

Her education includes a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge (2010) and dual master's degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Salzburg (2006).

Werndl's research spans philosophy of evidence, statistics, climate science, physics, and foundational questions in statistical mechanics.
