Charlotte Sahlén Helmer is an affiliated researcher at Linköping University's Faculty of Medicine, working within the Department of Health, Medicine and Care (HMV) and Department of Nursing and Reproductive Health (ORH). As a pediatric nurse with a PhD from Linköping University, she specializes in neonatal care and family-centered developmental care, conducting research on parent-infant interactions in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) while maintaining clinical practice at the Children's Clinic at University Hospital. She lectures in specialized nursing programs at Linköping University, Jönköping University, and Karolinska Institutet.
