Charlotte Angelhoff is an Associate Professor in Nursing at Linköping University's Department of Nursing and Reproductive Health (ORH) within the Department of Health, Medicine and Care (HMV). She works both clinically and as a researcher at the Children's Allergy Clinic at the Allergy Center in Linköping and as a Research Developer at the Medical Center in Linköping, employed through Region Östergötland.
Her educational background includes Registered Nurse (2008), Specialist Nurse in Child and Adolescent Healthcare (2010), Doctor of Medicine (2017), and Associate Professor in Nursing with a focus on children and young adults (2022).
Dr. Angelhoff's research focuses on child- and family-centered care with emphasis on care experiences, sleep, stress, and quality of life factors affecting child and family health. Her work bridges clinical practice and research, addressing problems encountered in emergency pediatric care through both quantitative and qualitative methods. She leads the POCOKIDS project studying post-COVID-19 symptoms in children and research on parental sleep when children are hospitalized.
Her publication trends show strong focus on pediatric nursing, family experiences in healthcare settings, and the impact of illness on family dynamics, with recent work heavily influenced by the pandemic's effects on children's health and family care systems.
Dr. Angelhoff actively collaborates with researchers including Professor Evalotte Mörelius, Adjunct Assistant Professor Karel Duchen Munoz, Senior Lecturer Patrik Rytterström, Consultant Per Ertzgaard, and Associate Professor Eva Fernlund.
She holds significant professional roles as a member of the Ethics Review Board, board member of the Swedish Association for Children's Nurses, and participant in multiple research networks including the International Network for Child & Family Centred Care and the Sleep and Health Network.
