Dr Charlotte Phelps is a Senior Teaching Fellow at Bond University's Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine and a member of the Centre for Urology Research. She holds a PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology (2024) and a Bachelor of Health Science with First Class Honours in Medical Education (2021). Her research focuses on enhancing physiology and anatomical education through hands-on methods, particularly in medical and biomedical programs. She also investigates urinary bladder physiology and urology-related topics.

Research Interests: Physiology education innovation, anatomical teaching methods, urinary bladder dysfunction, and sustainable curriculum integration. She explores technologies like augmented reality and holograms to improve student engagement and knowledge retention.
Professional Activities:
- Member of the Australian and New Zealand Continence Journal editorial board (2023–present)
- Co-supervisor for a PhD candidate investigating microRNA roles in physical activity (2024–2025)
- Delivered invited talks on topics including planetary health education and technology-enhanced learning (2022–2024)
Labs/Teams: Collaborates within the Centre for Urology Research and interdisciplinary medical education teams. Active in developing blended learning approaches using mixed reality technologies.
