Dr. Charlotte Mol is an Assistant Professor at the Molengraaff Institute for Private Law (Utrecht University School of Law, Economics and Governance). She specializes in Family Law, Children's Rights, and International Family Law, with particular focus on Parent-Child Relationships and Youth Participation in Legal Processes.
Her groundbreaking research on Child Participation in Family Law Proceedings earned her a cum laude PhD (2022) and NWO Research Talent grant. Current projects include 'Hear Hear! Nurturing Children’s Self-Determination Through Participation in Parental Divorce' – an interdisciplinary collaboration with pedagogues and psychologists.
