Charlotte Greenway

Dr. Charlotte Greenway is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, affiliated with the Institute of Education and Humanities. She holds a PhD in Psychology and is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her roles include Programme Manager for the MA Children and Young People’s Mental Health and membership on the QEC Board and external/internal validation panels. She has been a full-time lecturer since 2008, with prior experience as a part-time hourly-paid lecturer.

Dr. Greenway’s educational background includes BSc, MSc, and MPhil-PhD degrees in Psychology. Her teaching focuses on Developmental and Educational Psychology, Research Methods, ADHD, and Children’s Mental Health. Her research interests span ADHD in children, therapeutic play, muscle dysmorphia, and additional learning needs. She has contributed to influential works on ADHD stigma, classroom grouping strategies, and the impact of the pandemic on special education.

Her publications reflect expertise in inclusive education, special needs, and qualitative methodologies. Notable works include studies on teacher knowledge of ADHD, social devaluation of peers with ADHD symptoms, and the efficacy of Social Stories for behavioral management. She also explores steroid use motivations and parental experiences during school closures.
