Dr. Charlotte Grech-Madin is a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the Department of International Relations, Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, ANU. Her research focuses on peace studies, international security, and environmental norms, particularly around water as a humanitarian issue. She has conducted fieldwork in India and the U.S., exploring the 'water taboo' against weaponizing water, which earned two international awards. She collaborates on an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship project addressing child displacement in humanitarian crises.
