Charlotte Fridolfsson is an Associate Professor (Docent) in the Department of Management and Engineering at Linköping University. Her research focuses on political science, public policy, and sociopolitical dynamics, with emphases on rural development, urbanization, migration policy, and equity in smart city initiatives. She contributes to interdisciplinary studies bridging EU policy impacts, socioeconomic structures, and governance challenges.
Her work explores topics such as rural policy between EU frameworks and local realities, the role of institutions like the Church of Sweden in migration debates, and the societal implications of smart urban technologies.
