His interdisciplinary work integrates transitions management theory and Foucault’s concept of the dispositif to analyze how sustainability goals are negotiated in practice. Funded by the ESRC through the Scottish Graduate School of Social Sciences DTP, his research emphasizes relational ethnography and local agency in shaping environmental frameworks. Supervised by Dr. Zoe Malcolm, Dr. Sarah Parry, Dr. Rosalind Bryce, and Dr. Chris Mackie, his work contributes to broader debates on just and sustainable practices in national parks.
