Dr. Charlie Christenson is an Associate Professor in the Voice Department at Berklee College of Music. He specializes in vocal performance across rock, R&B, folk, and jazz genres, and has led bands in Minneapolis, Miami, and New York. Prior to Berklee, he served as Head of the Voice Department and Director of the Graduate Program at McNally Smith College of Music, and taught at the University of Southern Maine and University of Miami. His doctoral research focused on developing advanced vocal études for jazz and contemporary vocalists, with a publication nearing completion. He has released music independently and through Biophilia Records, available on major streaming platforms.
