Charles Yoe is a Professor in the Department of Business and Economics at Notre Dame of Maryland University, specializing in risk analysis and economics. With a global perspective, he has collaborated with individuals from nearly 100 nations and traveled across all continents except Antarctica.

His research focuses on risk analysis in food safety, natural disasters, international trade, environmental policy, and natural resources planning. Recent projects include preventing Asian carp invasion in the Great Lakes, evaluating risks of unconventional gas wells, and enhancing dietary supplement safety for national defense.
Publications span risk assessment methodologies, biosecurity, and interdisciplinary applications of economics to environmental and policy challenges. Key collaborations include work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, and U.S. Pharmacopeia.
