Charles W. Kazer

Charles W. Kazer serves as a Lab Instructor in the Computer Science Department at Swarthmore College, where he leads laboratory sessions for undergraduate courses including Data Structures & Algorithms (CPSC 035) and Database Systems (CPSC 044) during the Fall 2024 semester. He maintains office hours in SCI 262A for student support.

He earned his Master of Engineering in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2019 under Vincent Liu's advisement.

Kazer's research focuses on computer systems and networks, particularly data center infrastructure and simulation techniques. His work in network approximation methods was presented at HotNets 2018, reflecting his specialization in optimizing large-scale network modeling.

In his instructional role, he conducts multiple weekly lab sections across two core computer science courses, emphasizing practical implementation of algorithms and database systems.
