Charles McCartan

Charles McCartan is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Queen's University Belfast. His roles include Director of Education (Postgraduate-Taught Studies), Programme Director for Product Design Engineering (2017-2022), and University Coordinator for the Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering (2015-2022). He specializes in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, and Product Design Engineering, with a teaching philosophy rooted in the CDIO (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) framework.
