Charles Kemmler, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, and a Medical Officer in the U.S. National Disaster Medical System. He is an Associate Scholar at the Center for Global Health, with extensive experience in global health initiatives in Pakistan, Botswana, and South Africa.
