Charles Isbell is a Professor at the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently serves as the Provost at the University of Wisconsin-Madison but retains his faculty role. His work focuses on Interactive Artificial Intelligence, particularly applying statistical machine learning to create autonomous agents that collaborate with humans and other agents.
- Research areas include adaptive modeling, activity discovery, scalable coordination, and development environments for adaptive agents
