Charles Ernst is a Professor and Director of the Center for Excellence in Learning Education at Hilbert College within the Division of Arts and Letters, Department of English. With several decades of teaching experience, he has held faculty positions at Hilbert College, Canisius University, Empire State College, Buffalo State University, and Attica State Prison.
His educational background includes:

Specializing in English Renaissance Literature and Shakespeare, Ernst's research spans early modern British prose, contemporary American fiction, and Russian literature.
