معرفی
Charles Auerbach is a Professor at Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work with 30 years of dedicated service. He chairs the curriculum committee and research sequence while teaching social work research methods and applied methods courses. His professional roles include serving as a research consultant for Long Island Jewish Medical Center since 1999 and the SUNY Research Foundation since 2001, with prior experience as a visiting professor at Yeshiva University's Einstein College of Medicine (2005-2007).
His research spans child welfare systems, clinical social work practice, and innovative quantitative methodologies. He is renowned for co-developing the widely adopted SSD for R package for single-subject data analysis. Current work emphasizes technology integration in social work education, antisemitism in healthcare environments, and mental health care for immigrant veterans. His methodological expertise bridges traditional social work practice with advanced statistical computing.
Recent publications reveal three dominant scholarly trajectories: technological innovation in social work pedagogy (particularly R programming applications), systemic discrimination analysis in healthcare settings, and cross-cultural mental health interventions for veteran populations. His work consistently connects methodological rigor with practical field applications, demonstrating how statistical innovation can address complex social service challenges while maintaining deep engagement with clinical realities.
Professor Auerbach maintains active research partnerships with major medical institutions while shaping social work education through curriculum leadership. His dual focus on quantitative methodology development and child welfare system analysis creates unique interdisciplinary connections between statistical science and frontline practice.
