Dr. Soohyoung (Rain) Lee is an Assistant Professor at Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work, specializing in interdisciplinary research that merges social work, gerontology, and health equity. He leads the Aging and Welfare Lab, focusing on aging populations, healthcare disparities, and digital inclusion.

His research employs mixed-methods and mathematical modeling to address systemic inequities in health, economic security, and digital access for older adults. Recent publications examine global aging challenges, financial behavior, and telehealth accessibility. His work has been funded by the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation and the Center for Rural Pennsylvania. Dr. Lee serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology and co-convenes the 'Aging among Asians' interest group at the Gerontological Society of America.
