Charles Angelucci is the Class of 1957 Career Development Assistant Professor of Applied Economics at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Columbia Business School (2015–2020), where he taught Competitive Strategy. He holds a PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics.
His research focuses on Organizational Economics and Political Economy, with emphasis on governance structures and news media markets. Key themes include voter behavior in elections, media competition dynamics, and institutional evolution in historical contexts.
