Charity Cerminara is a Nursing Instructor at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, holding an MSN from Norwich University. With six years of academic teaching experience, she transitioned from an ICU bedside nurse to roles in leadership, management, and academia. Her expertise bridges clinical practice and education, emphasizing real-world application in teaching. She is based in Mercy Hall and can be reached at 207-893-7973.
Her research interests focus on innovative pedagogical methods, particularly flipped classrooms, to engage students in practical nursing care scenarios. She actively integrates her ICU nursing experience into curricula to prepare students for clinical realities.
