Charisios Achillas

Charisios Achillas serves as Associate Professor at the International Hellenic University's Department of Supply Chain Management and holds dual senior researcher positions at the Institute of Bio-Economy and Agri-Technology (Centre for Research & Technology Hellas) and the Sustainability Engineering Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He has coordinated over 55 research projects (predominantly EU-funded) with combined budgets exceeding €13 million. His scholarly impact includes 250+ publications yielding a Scopus h-index of 25, alongside active roles as partner in two Thessaloniki-based high-tech companies and member of national/European scientific committees.

Dr. Achillas contributes to interdisciplinary sustainability research through the Sustainability Engineering Laboratory at Aristotle University and CERTH's Institute of Bio-Economy and Agri-Technology, focusing on resource efficiency and closed-loop systems.
