Dr Chao Zheng is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Statistics at the University of Southampton's School of Mathematical Sciences and a member of the Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute (S3RI). His research focuses on developing statistical theories, methodologies, and algorithms for large-scale and complex data analysis, including changepoint detection, high-dimensional inference, model selection, and locally stationary time series.
