Chantalle Schubert

Chantalle Schubert holds dual appointments at Kempten University of Applied Sciences as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and as a Laboratory Engineer at the AAL Living Lab under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health. Her work bridges engineering principles with healthcare applications, focusing on technology solutions for independent elderly living.

Her research centers on Assistive Technology and Gerontechnology, with specialization in Ambient Assisted Living systems. Through the AAL Living Lab, she develops mechanical engineering solutions for health monitoring, mobility assistance, and age-friendly environments, directly supporting academic programs in Gerontological Nursing, Health Management, and Social Work.

Ms. Schubert actively contributes to the university's interdisciplinary initiatives through the AAL Living Lab and IGG Institute for Health and Generations. Her laboratory work enables hands-on testing of assistive devices while her mechanical engineering instruction incorporates healthcare technology applications, fostering collaboration between technical and social sciences faculties.
