Chantal Richard is Full Professor in the Department of French at the University of New Brunswick, specializing in Acadian literature and cultural identity. With a PhD from Université de Moncton, she has developed research programs examining language contact phenomena and identity discourses in Francophone Canadian contexts.

Her interdisciplinary approach combines literary theory with linguistics and digital methods.
