Changyoon Jeong is an Associate Professor at the Red River Research Station of the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center (LSU AgCenter). He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, UK, and has extensive experience in environmental and agricultural research. His work focuses on soil health, water resource management, and climate-smart agricultural practices. He leads projects addressing greenhouse gas emissions, tailwater recovery systems, and harmful algal bloom mitigation. Jeong has secured significant grants from USDA-NIFA, NRCS, and other agencies, totaling over $3 million in funding for his research initiatives.
