معرفی
Dr. Changxun Yu is a senior Environmental Geochemist at Linnaeus University's Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, specializing in biogeochemical processes of Fe/Mn cycling and their impacts on trace element mobility and carbon sequestration in (sub)surface environments. His work integrates advanced analytical techniques (XAS, STXM, DFT simulations) with multidisciplinary collaborations across Sweden and China.
- Department: Department of Biology and Environmental Science
- Key Projects: Massiw (uranium cycling in sulfidic landscapes), Biochar in circular agriculture, and acidic sulfate soil remediation
Research focus includes metal-redox interactions, organic carbon storage mechanisms, and silicon-nutrient coupling in wetlands and grasslands. His articles reveal a systematic exploration of uranium biogeochemistry, microbial metal oxidation, and isotopic tracers for environmental monitoring. Funded by Swedish Research Council Formas, Geological Survey of Sweden, and EU Botnia Atlantica, his work has been featured in Forskning.se and Aftonbladet. Actively supervises BSc/MSc/PhD students while leading the Environmental Geochemistry research group.
