Dr. Lee's research investigates financial analyst behavior through three interconnected lenses: earnings forecast accuracy in changing coverage environments, CSR information dissemination via analyst recommendations, and timeliness-accuracy tradeoffs in forecasting decisions. His work employs rigorous empirical methods to examine market inefficiencies, appearing in top journals like the Journal of Accounting, Auditing & Finance and Journal of Business Ethics.
Analysis of his 2017-2019 publications reveals consistent focus on analyst-driven market dynamics, particularly how financial intermediaries process and transmit information related to corporate social responsibility and earnings expectations. The research demonstrates methodological sophistication in measuring forecast properties while addressing real-world implications for investors and regulators.
