Changcheng Song

Changcheng Song is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Warrington College of Business, University of Florida. His research focuses on household finance, behavioral economics, real estate economics, and experimental economics. He employs both observational and experimental methods to study topics such as entrepreneurial activity, healthcare efficiency, liquidity constraints, and financial literacy. His work has been published in top journals like the Review of Financial Studies and Management Science. Song received his B.A. from Tsinghua University and his Ph.D. in Economics from UC Berkeley. He has conducted field experiments in multiple countries, including China, Singapore, and Kenya. His teaching includes courses on real estate finance, analytics in finance, and development economics.

Research Interests: Household finance decisions, macroeconomic policies, behavioral economics, entrepreneurship, healthcare access, and financial education. His experiments investigate barriers to financial product adoption and evaluate policy interventions in diverse contexts.

Publications span topics such as home-based business reforms, healthcare IT innovations, pension contribution behavior, and ethnic investing effects. Collaborations include work in China’s public hospital systems, Singapore’s housing markets, and microfinance initiatives in developing economies.
