Professor Chang Qing Xu is a faculty member at the Department of Engineering Physics, Faculty of Engineering, McMaster University. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of Tokyo (1991) and M.Sc./B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China (1987/1985). His research focuses on bacterial sensors, biomedical lasers, periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) devices, optical sensors, and mid-infrared laser applications.
