Key advancements involve tunable mid-infrared light sources (3-5.5 μm range), integrated-path gas sensors, and open-path absorption spectroscopy, addressing critical needs in industrial emission tracking and climate science through optical engineering breakthroughs.

Ashik has not supervised any students.
