Chanelle Howe

Chanelle Howe is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Brown University School of Public Health. She serves as an Editor for the American Journal of Epidemiology and holds appointments with Brown's Center for Epidemiologic Research and the Providence/Boston Center for AIDS Research.

Her research focuses on causal inference, quantitative methods, and health disparities. Methodologically, she investigates bias sources and advanced quantitative techniques to improve public health literature accuracy. Recent publications examine geospatial disparities in influenza vaccination, causal diagram applications for racial health disparities, selection bias frameworks, and HIV intervention modeling.
