Dr. Chandra Shekhar Sharma is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur and leads the CARBON Laboratory, focusing on carbon-based nanomaterials, energy storage, and bio-inspired functional surfaces.
His research interests include:
- Polymer and Carbon Nanomaterials
- Carbon-MEMS
- Electrospun Nanofibers
- Nature-inspired Functional Surfaces
- Metal-CO2 Battery Technology
- Density Functional Theory (DFT) for Material Studies
