Her research explores mega-infrastructure projects in Western India, particularly how ports and development impact agrarian communities and coastal ecologies. She re-centers marginalized coastal regions as dynamic networks of water, sediment, and socio-ecological interactions. Recent publications analyze port environments, forest rights, and pandemic-era ecological resilience.
Teaching focuses on environmental justice, South Asian social dynamics, and cultural anthropology. No scientific awards are listed, though her work emphasizes collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to environmental and social challenges.
