Chadene Tremaglio

Dr. Chadene Tremaglio is an Assistant Professor in the Biology Department at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), affiliated with the School of Arts, Sciences, Business, and Education. She holds a B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut and a Ph.D. from Boston University School of Medicine, followed by postdoctoral research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School studying ovarian carcinoma biology. In 2023, she received the SASBE Excellence in Teaching Award for her innovative pedagogy and inclusive classroom practices.

Her research focuses on viral RNA polymerase mechanisms, particularly respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), investigating transcription initiation, replication processes, and host-pathogen interactions.
