Chad Davis

Chad Davis serves as a Lecturer and Recruitment Coordinator in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Gallogly College of Engineering, University of Oklahoma, where he has been a full-time faculty member since 2008.

He earned his PhD from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 after industry experience at Uponor, McElroy Manufacturing, Lucent, and Celestica, specializing in electromechanical system design and manufacturing/test process automation. Davis holds a dual-discipline professional engineering license in electrical and mechanical engineering for Oklahoma and is a licensed private pilot.

His research focuses on aviation navigation systems with specific expertise in:

• GPS and Differential GPS Augmentation Systems development
• Feedback control applications for Ground Based Augmentation Systems
• Instrumentation design for navigational data acquisition
• Control system implementation using Fuzzy Logic, PID, and Neural Networks

Davis actively serves as ECE recruiting coordinator and primary academic advisor for students, leveraging his industry background to bridge theoretical and practical engineering education.
