Cenk AKİL is Professor of Civil Procedure Law and Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law at Istanbul Beykent University's Faculty of Law since 2020, previously serving as Associate Professor (2014-2017) and Assistant Professor (2011) at Istanbul Aydin University, and Lecturer/Research Assistant at Ankara University (2001-2011).

His publications address practical gaps in payment order objections, partial case resolutions, and mortgage liquidation processes within Turkey's legal framework.
He has supervised master's theses including Mesut Ince's 2024 study on enforcement law property rights and UĞUR ESE's 2023 research on mortgage-to-cash conversion.
