Dr. Celine-Marie Pascale is Professor of Sociology at American University's College of Arts and Sciences. Her research examines culture, knowledge, and power through sociological analyses of language and representation, drawing on feminist and poststructuralist theories. She specializes in qualitative methodologies, particularly textual analysis and interview techniques.
Research interests focus on:
- Language as social power mechanism
- Representation politics in inequality structures
- Epistemological frameworks in social research
- Intersectional race-class-gender dynamics
