Celeste Rodriguez Louro is an Associate Professor and Chair of Linguistics at the University of Western Australia's School of Social Sciences. She directs the Language Lab and holds a Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford's All Souls College (2026). Her work focuses on Australian Aboriginal English, sociolinguistics, and decolonizing linguistic practices. Key roles include leadership in UWA's GenAI Think Tank and Graduate Research School Board, and consultancy for the Oxford English Dictionary.
