Celeste Hill is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Science at Samford University's Orlean Beeson School of Education. She advises underclassmen and leads the Samford chapter of the National Council on Family Relations (SUNCFR). Her teaching focuses on Infant and Child Development, Gerontology and the Family, and Family Life Education. She holds a PhD and MA in Educational Psychology, and MS in Human Development and Family Studies, all from the University of Alabama.
Her research emphasizes experiential education, online learning methodologies, and aging-related family dynamics. She has contributed to the NCFR Report and presented at national and regional conferences on topics like intergenerational learning, professionalism in academia, and policy challenges for aging populations.
Honored with the Stephen Shank Recognition (2012-2013), she is certified as an online instructor and Quality Matters peer reviewer. Her professional involvement includes the National Council on Family Relations and Southeastern Council on Family Relations.
