Cees Kleverlaan

Prof. Cees Kleverlaan is a Full Professor in Dental Material Sciences at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). His research focuses on biomaterials used in dentistry and healthcare, emphasizing material development, failure prediction, and adverse reactions between materials and biological systems. He is actively involved in the Oral Regenerative Medicine priority area, exploring biomaterial-cell interactions. Kleverlaan holds a PhD in Inorganic PhotoChemistry (University of Amsterdam, 1998) and a Master's in Inorganic Chemistry (University of Amsterdam, 1993).
