Cécile Mauré is a Lecturer in English Literature at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, affiliated with the CIRLEP research center. She holds a PhD in 16th-century English literature (2006, Très Honorable) and has held multiple administrative roles including Deputy Director of the GCE Department (2006-2009) and Head of the Professional License in Packaging Design (2010-2013). Her research focuses on classical mythology’s reception in Elizabethan literature, with notable contributions to studies on Shakespeare, Ben Jonson, and George Gascoigne.

- Teaching: Technical English for Packaging Engineering and Design at IUT Reims since 2001.

Her research explores mythological figures like Echo and Narcissus in Renaissance drama, analyzing their roles in political symbolism, theatrical staging, and moral discourse. Recent work includes contributions to Cahiers Shakespeare en devenir and LISA Review.
