Catrin Zharyy is a Postgraduate Associate in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University (2023) with a minor in Cultural Anthropology. Her research focuses on clinical neuropsychology and neurodevelopmental processes, combining neuroimaging techniques with behavioral studies.
Research Experience:
- Interdisciplinary Affective Science Lab: Beta-tested ecological momentary assessment tools for daily diary studies on affective state recall
- Clinical Affective Neuroscience and Development Lab (Yale): Tracked participant progress in longitudinal neuroimaging studies of anxiety mitigation in children
- Lee Lab (Harvard Medical School): Conducted neuron tracing in electron microscopy datasets to map decision-making cortex in mice and olfactory lobes in mosquitoes
