Cathy Gutierrez

Cathy Gutierrez serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Classics and General Humanities within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Montclair State University, with her academic office located in Dickson Hall.

Her research spans core humanities disciplines including Classics and Cultural History, with specialized focus on Ancient Greek and Roman civilizations, Classical Languages, Ancient Philosophy, and Mediterranean cultural evolution. This scholarly foundation informs her pedagogical approach to classical antiquity and its enduring intellectual legacy.
