Cathy Claussen is a Professor in the Sport Management Program at Washington State University's College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences. She specializes in sport law, with a focus on constitutional and civil rights issues in sports, and has co-authored the leading textbook Sport Law: A Managerial Approach.
Her roles include serving as Program Coordinator, Internship Coordinator, and Ombudsman at WSU since 2011. She has held leadership positions such as President of the Sport & Recreation Law Association and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport.
