Cathrine Elgaard Jensen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine at Aalborg University's Faculty of Medicine. She is affiliated with the Danish Center for Health Services Research and holds a PhD (awarded in 2017). Her research focuses on health economics, public health, and clinical decision-making, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal disorders and quality-of-life assessment. She has led studies on AI-driven clinical decision support systems and geographical health disparities. Her work frequently involves randomized controlled trials and population-level health metrics analysis.
Key research themes include healthcare cost-effectiveness, general practice workflows, and the implementation of evidence-based guidelines.
