Catherine Xhardez is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, Université de Montréal, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and CÉRIUM—Centre d'études et de recherches internationales. She holds a PhD in Political Science from Université Saint-Louis–Bruxelles and Sciences Po Paris. Her work focuses on immigration, federalism, and public policy, with emphasis on sub-state entities like Canadian provinces and Belgian regions.
